A home that stood behind "The Hotel" (Boothe/ Wasatch/New Utahna) which may have been an early home of LT Pierce, was subsequently used as a hospital and then the home of the sheriff. Drs. George M. Fister (1892-1976) and LeRoy Smith "had offices and operated a 10-bed hospital in the home now occupied by Sheriff Warren W. Hyde, just south of the Box Elder County Jail."
