“Brigham City Historical Map”

This map was taken from the Brigham City Master Plan 2000 that was adopted by the Brigham City Planning Commission in 1989. It shows many features of the early city including: Watkins Park as an extension of the Pioneer Park Pond, the early walls of the city (which were never entirely finished), the old street names, the original three square design in the center of town (Brigham Young Public Square, Courthouse Square, and Prospect Square), and others. Another interesting item is the “Welsh Colony.” Many of these settlers ended up moving north and settling Malad.
